Who this course is for

This course is for carers or support workers who are currently working within the adult health and social care sector and want to gain this nationally recognised qualification. You will develop and extend your practice and learn about the legislation that underpins the health and social care sector. The course requires you to have a minimum of 3 months experience of working in the adult health and social care setting and you should be working approximately 10 hours per week.

To be accepted on to the course you must attend an information session, which will consist of an English assessment and interview session and enrolment. Please email us at [email protected] to book onto the next available information and assessment session.

Entry requirements

You must be 19 years of age or older on the 31st August of the current year.
