Free Level 2 Car Mechanic Course in Ipswich. Classes run full-time at Suffolk New College Suffolk Rural, five days a week during the day. This is a focused, year-long route into the automotive trade. You'll study how light vehicles work, how to diagnose faults, and how to carry out repairs and maintenance. Entry requires two GCSEs at Grade 1 or above, including maths and/or English, or you can demonstrate the ability to work toward Level 1 in an initial assessment.
