Free Level 2 Car Mechanic Course in Ipswich. Classes run full-time at Suffolk New College Suffolk Rural, five days a week during the day. The course takes one year to complete. You'll study the fundamentals of motor vehicle technology, covering how vehicles work, how to diagnose faults, and how to carry out repairs and maintenance. This level 2 car mechanic qualification gives you the practical and technical grounding employers look for in a workshop role. Entry requires two GCSEs at Grade 1 or above, including maths and/or English, or you can demonstrate the ability to work toward Level 1 in those subjects at assessment.
Who this course is for
The Level 1 Certificate in Building Crafts Occupations is designed to give a foundation approach to construction qualifications and prepare learners to enter the industry in their chosen craft. It has been specifically developed for delivery in a training environment using simulated conditions, and the test(s) are based on the learner demonstrating their knowledge and skills through the completion of all the requirements of the qualification. The course is run as a full time course comprising of a three day week for thirty six weeks.
