About this course

Free Level 2 Bullying in Children and Young People Course in Pickering. Classes run at Atmosphere Centre for Young People, with daytime sessions spread over around 6 months at a manageable part-time pace. You'll build a solid understanding of how bullying affects children and young people, why it happens, and how to respond. Entry requirements

You must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility maybe linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment. If this is the first qualification you are undertaking as part of the Supporting Teaching and Learning suite, you will be required to attend the introductory course Starting my career working in schools, be working towards your Level 1 in maths and English and have basic IT skills if not already achieved.

How you will learn

Learning takes place in the classroom at Atmosphere Centre for Young People. You'll be assessed through written assignments and knowledge-based tasks that relate to real scenarios involving children and young people. Assessment is ongoing throughout the course rather than in a single exam, so you can build your understanding steadily across the 6 months.
