Free Level 2 Bricklaying Course in Stoke-on-Trent. Classes run at Stoke-on-Trent College Burslem Campus, full-time during the day. This level 2 bricklaying qualification builds on Level 1 study, developing the trade skills employers look for. You'll cover both practical bricklaying and underpinning theory, and you need to pass both to complete the course. Entry requires 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, or a relevant Level 1 qualification. There's a pre-induction interview to confirm the course is the right level for you. The course runs for 34 weeks.
Who this course is for
This course is a progression from the Level 1 study programme to further develop skills in bricklaying. It’s about increasing trade skills to meet the needs of employers. The course consists of practical and theory and both parts of the course need to be successfully completed to achieve this qualification. Employers will expect good attendance, good behaviour and good communication skills enabling you to interact with clients, work safely, using initiative as well as having bricklaying skills.
