About this course

Free Level 2 Barbering Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You train in your salon or barber environment while you earn, building practical cutting skills alongside communication and health and safety. You must be aged 19 or over and already working in a suitable salon or barber setting to enrol. An initial assessment at the start confirms the right level of support for you. The qualification is specifically designed to develop the practical skills of individuals working in a salon or barber environment. We'll develop your creative cutting skills alongside everyday salon/barber skills including communication and health and safety.

You must be working in a salon or appropriate setting to join this course as this is a work based programme.

This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.

How you will learn

You'll be assessed at the start to determine the right level of support, and a trainer will confirm your eligibility before you enrol.
