About this course

Free Level 2 Autism Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You study through weekly online webinars while continuing in your role in health and social care. The course runs over 6 weeks and gives you an in-depth understanding of autism, including how to support people to live positive, healthy and independent lives. It suits anyone aged 19 or over who works with, or plans to work with, adults with autism in a care home or domestic setting. Awarded by TQUK, you'll complete the course with a TQUK Certificate in Understanding Autism.

Who this course is for

This course will give you an in-depth understanding of autism and how to support individuals to lead positive, healthy and independent lives.

This short course will run via weekly webinars, giving you the opportunity to do your coursework at home. You will receive a professional Level 2 qualification awarded to you by TQUK.

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for anyone over the age of 19 and working in the health and social care sector. Whether you are at a junior or senior level it is a valued qualification to apply for.

It is an ideal programme for you if you are working with or will work with adults with autism, in a care home or a domestic setting. Additionally it is suitable for you if you wish to develop your general knowledge and understanding of autism.
