About this course

Level 2 Art and Design Course in Witney. Classes run at Abingdon & Witney College Witney Campus, full-time in the evenings. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply. The course may be free if you're 16 to 18 years old.

You'll explore painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, digital arts, and both 2D and 3D techniques. Over the course of a week, you'll build a portfolio of work across these disciplines. To join, you'll need four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English or Maths. Alternatively, a Level 1 pass in a related subject is accepted, alongside English and Maths at grade 2 or Level 1 Functional Skills.

You'll finish with a Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design, awarded by the University of the Arts London.

Who this course is for

This exciting one-year course will offer you the chance to learn about a variety of art craft and design disciplines. You will explore painting drawing photography printmaking digitals arts and a range of 2D and 3D techniques. You will be able to develop a portfolio of work to support your progression onto a Level 3 qualification.

Entry requirements

4 GCSES at grade 3 including English or Maths OR a Level 1 pass in a related subject plus English or Maths and both English and Maths must be at least grade 2 / Level 1 Functional Skills.
