What you will learn

You'll recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions.
You'll learn how stigma affects people with mental health problems.
You'll explore ways to support someone who is experiencing poor mental health.
You'll understand when and how to signpost people to professional help.
You'll develop awareness of your own mental wellbeing.
How you will learn
You'll study entirely online, working through course materials at a time and pace that suits you. Assessment is based on written tasks or short questions completed online. You submit your work digitally, and it is marked against the qualification criteria. No exams are held at a centre. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm Level 1 is the right starting point for you.
