You'll explore both disciplines before specialising further. The course typically takes 10 months. There are no formal entry requirements. The centre may carry out an initial assessment before you start.
You'll finish with a VTCT Level 1 Diploma in Hair and Beauty Skills.
The Level 1 Certificate in Hair & Beauty is designed for learners who are interested in developing practical skills and knowledge within the hair and beauty industry. It is an ideal starting point for those with little or no previous experience and who wish to explore career opportunities in either hairdressing or beauty therapy.
This course provides an introduction to the industry, helping learners develop confidence, communication skills and professional behaviours expected in a salon environment. It also supports progression into further education, apprenticeships or entry-level employment.
There are no formal qualification requirements to enrol on this course.
