Free Level 1 Hair and Beauty Course in Stafford. Classes run at E.Quality Training Stafford Training Centre, full-time during the day. The course is for 16 to 19 year olds.
The course covers practical skills in hairdressing and beauty therapy. You'll learn professional salon behaviours, client communication, and hands-on techniques across both disciplines. No previous experience is needed. The course runs over 10 months. You'll have an initial assessment before you start to confirm the course is the right fit.
You'll finish with a VTCT Level 1 Certificate in Hair and Beauty Skills.
The Level 1 Certificate in Hair & Beauty is designed for learners who are interested in developing practical skills and knowledge within the hair and beauty industry. It is an ideal starting point for those with little or no previous experience and who wish to explore career opportunities in either hairdressing or beauty therapy.
This course provides an introduction to the industry, helping learners develop confidence, communication skills and professional behaviours expected in a salon environment. It also supports progression into further education, apprenticeships or entry-level employment.
There are no formal qualification requirements to enrol on this course.

Be interested in hair and beauty. Be willing to participate in practical activities. Have a good level of personal hygiene and presentation. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning and teamwork. Have a basic understanding of English to enable them to complete written work and follow instructions.
