Level 1 Construction Skills Course in Keighley. Classes run at Keighley College, full-time during the day. If you're 16 to 18 years old, there's no fee. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply, though a Learner Loan may be available. This one-year construction skills course introduces you to both electrical and construction trades. You'll cover practical skills across multiple areas, giving you a broad base to build on. If you don't yet have GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above, you'll study those alongside the main course.
Who this course is for
A mutli-skills course which introduces you to the electrical and construction industry preparing you for progression onto Level 2 Electrical.
Entry requirements
3 GCSE’s at Grade 2 or above to include English and maths. Students who do
not meet the entry requirements will be given consideration for a relevant
vocational qualification.
If you are under 19 and you do not already have English & Maths GCSE
grades 9-4 or equivalent you will be required to undertake GCSE or Functional
Skills alongside your main qualification.
