Free Level 1 Construction Skills Course in Coalville. Classes run at Stephenson College, full-time during the day, over one year. You'll get hands-on experience across a range of trades: bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, plastering, painting and decorating, plumbing, wall and floor tiling, and construction operations. It's a broad introduction that helps you find out which trade suits you before committing to a specialist route. Entry requirements are GCSE English and Maths at grade 1 or above. These qualifications are suitable for individuals of any wanting an
introduction to the variety of construction trades, to gain skills in those
areas and perhaps to decide which trade is the right one to pursue a career
in.
