About this course

Free Level 1 Computer Course in Northampton. Classes run at Evolve Your Future, part-time during the day. This is a free computer course for adults aged 19 or over who don't yet hold a Level 1 IT qualification. The course runs over 3 months at a manageable pace, making it practical for anyone fitting study around other commitments. You'll build the digital skills needed for everyday life, from using devices and browsers to accessing online services. The course takes around 3 months part-time. Level 1 Essential Digital Skills Qualification with certificate.

Anyone who needs the understanding of and competency in the essential digital skills they need for life. It will enable learners to engage with digital services and products in everyday life.

Must be 19 years plus

Unemployed or Employed

Does not have an IT qualification at Level 1 (GCSE Grade C or 4)

  • Understand that the internet allows me to access information and content and that I can connect to it through Wi-Fi
  • Be able to connect my device to a safe and secure Wi-Fi network
  • Be able to connect to the internet and open a browser to find and use websites
