Nova Training offer a blended learning approach consisting of classroom based lessons with a GCSE Tutor, supported study in centres and e-learning via our e learning platform.

Course Content The course supports learners to develop their GCSE English Language Skills in preparation for either the Autumn or Summer retake windows provided by the examining body.

Entry requirements

Learners must be aged 16 to 19. As this is a retake qualification learners must have achieved a grade D or 3 in GCSE English Language previously.

Pearson Edexcel sets two exam papers covering reading and writing. There is no coursework component, though spoken language is assessed separately and recorded.
