What you will learn

  • You'll learn how to structure arguments and present ideas clearly in writing.
  • You'll develop your understanding of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • You'll practise spoken language skills, including presenting and responding to questions.
  • You'll learn how to compare writers' techniques and language choices.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom sessions with a tutor. The Pearson Edexcel GCSE is assessed by two written exams at the end of the course. There is no coursework, but your spoken language is assessed separately and recorded as an endorsement on your certificate. You'll practise exam technique throughout the year.
