This level 2 functional skills maths course runs full-time during the day and takes around 55 hours to complete. It covers numbers, measures, shape and space, and handling data. You must already be enrolled on a vocational qualification at one of the GAPS centres to join.

Who this course is for

Young people aged 16-18 (and 16-24 with an EHCP) who would like to gain a qualification in Functional Skills Maths.

  • You'll interpret and use shape and space, including area and perimeter.
  • You'll handle and interpret data, including charts, tables, and graphs.
