Free Functional Skills Maths Level 2 in Rotherham. Classes run at Dearne Valley College. Daytime sessions run part-time over 18 weeks, so you can fit study around other commitments. This level 2 functional skills maths course covers the maths skills employers ask for: working with numbers, measures, data, and problem-solving in everyday contexts. A Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Certificate is the recognised GCSE maths equivalent. When employers ask for GCSE maths or equivalent, this qualification meets that requirement. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm the level is right for you.

How you will learn
You'll attend classroom-based sessions at Dearne Valley College. Learning is through tutor-led teaching, practice exercises, and worked examples. Assessment is by a written external exam set and marked by City and Guilds. You must pass the exam to earn the Certificate. There is no coursework component for the Level 2 qualification.
