Free Functional Skills Maths Level 2 in Northallerton. Classes run at Richmond Adult Learning and Skills Service, part-time during the day over 18 weeks. This level 2 functional skills maths course covers the maths skills that employers and colleges ask for, from working with numbers and fractions to using data and solving real problems. It's a recognised GCSE maths equivalent, so when employers ask for GCSE maths or equivalent, this qualification counts. You'll sit an initial assessment at enrolment to confirm the level is right for you.

How you will learn

Assessment is by a written exam set and marked by City and Guilds. You'll need to pass both a non-calculator and a calculator paper to earn the qualification.
