About this course

Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Course in Birmingham. Evening classes run at South & City College Birmingham Bordesley Green Campus, one evening a week over one year. Fees vary depending on your circumstances, so contact the campus for your personal fee.

The course covers the maths you use in everyday life and work: working with numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratio, and basic statistics. You'll also apply maths to real problems involving money, measurement, and data. It's the recognised GCSE maths equivalent that many employers ask for. You'll need a Level 1 qualification or equivalent to enrol, plus an initial assessment to confirm the right level for you.

You'll finish with a Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics at Level 2.
