Free Functional Skills English Level 1 in Billingham. Classes run at B-Skill Stockton, with a mix of online study and time at the centre. We have a variety of levels available to study, starting form entry level 1, all of the way through to level 2. You'll write clearly for different purposes, such as letters, emails and short reports.
You'll use correct grammar, punctuation and spelling in your writing.
You'll speak clearly and listen carefully in discussions and conversations.
You'll identify the main points and purpose of spoken and written information.
You'll organise your ideas logically when writing and speaking.
How you will learn
This is a blended course. Some of your study happens online, at times that suit you. You also attend daytime sessions at B-Skill Stockton in Billingham. Assessment is by externally set reading and writing tests, plus a speaking and listening assessment. You need to pass each component to achieve the full qualification.
