The purpose of this programme is to introduce the theory, concepts and the science behind solar PV (photo-voltaic) technologies, including the fundamental concepts of solar energy, electricity, how solar PV panels and arrays are constructed and function. It covers their workings, installation and how green funding can be accessed to accelerate their deployment. This programme is suitable for learners with a interest in sustainable technologies and those who wish to develop the skills necessary for a career in this industry (including those learners studying engineering, plumbing, construction and multi-skills).
