Who this course is for

This course is for individuals that have little or some English reading skills. You will learn how to read simple English to help you go about your daily life. You will learn how to read basic forms, use a dictionary, read a letter from your surgery and any letters from your child�s school. You will be able to read basic health & safety and transport information.

Entry requirements

Prior ESOL E1 qualification is required, otherwise you will have to complete an initial assessment as part of your enrolment.

How you will learn

Classes are delivered in a classroom at Lambeth Adult Learning. Learning is practical and topic-based, covering everyday situations such as work, community, and social life. Assessment is through tasks and activities that reflect real reading situations. You'll be assessed on your ability to read and understand texts at Entry Level 2.
