Free Entry Level ESOL Skills for Life Course in Darlington. Classes run at Adult Education at The Coleridge Centre. This course is for people whose first language is not English. You'll study English for speakers of other languages full-time during the day, over 12 months. You'll develop your reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. To join, you must be aged 19 or over, live in the DL or TS postcode area or within commuting distance of Darlington, and have the right to live and work in the UK, or be a refugee or asylum seeker who has lived in the UK or EU for at least six months.

How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at Adult Education at The Coleridge Centre, with full-time daytime sessions across the week. Learning is practical and interactive, covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Assessment is through tasks and activities that reflect everyday English use. Your progress is assessed throughout the course.
