Free Entry Level Caring for a Child/Children Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You learn while you work, putting skills into practice in a real childcare setting. The course covers child development, health and safety, and supporting children's wellbeing. It typically takes 8 months to complete. There are no entry requirements. You'll come away with an NCFE Entry Level 3 caring for a child/children certificate, a recognised entry level caring for a child/children qualification that shows employers you have a solid foundation in childcare.
