Free Entry Level 3 Functional Skills Maths in Hinckley. Classes run at Workpays Hinckley, with daytime attendance and flexible study. Entry requirements
You do not currently hold any maths qualifications and have a desire to achieve a recognised qualification.
What you will learn
You'll work with whole numbers, including counting, ordering, and simple calculations.
You'll add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
You'll understand and use simple fractions and percentages.
You'll read and interpret straightforward data from tables, charts, and diagrams.
You'll use basic measures, including length, weight, capacity, and time.
You'll apply maths to practical, everyday situations at work and at home.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom sessions at Workpays Hinckley, with flexible daytime attendance. Assessment is by a written test set and marked by City and Guilds. You'll complete the test when you and your tutor agree you're ready. There's no coursework portfolio for this qualification; the test is the sole assessment.
