Free Entry Level 2 Functional Skills Maths in Hinckley. Classes run at Workpays Hinckley, with daytime sessions and flexible study to fit around your life. Entry requirements

You do not currently hold any maths qualifications and have a desire to achieve a recognised qualification.

What you will learn

  • You'll work with whole numbers, including counting, ordering, and simple calculations.
  • You'll add, subtract, multiply, and divide using straightforward methods.
  • You'll handle money and work out basic costs.
  • You'll read and interpret simple charts, tables, and graphs.
  • You'll measure length, weight, capacity, and time using common units.
  • You'll apply maths to practical, everyday situations.

How you will learn

You'll attend daytime classes at Workpays Hinckley, working through topics with a tutor. Study is flexible, so the pace can be adjusted to suit you. Assessment is through a written test set by City and Guilds. You'll sit the test when you and your tutor agree you're ready.
