It's a recognised entry level functional skills maths qualification and a stepping stone toward Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Skills Maths, the GCSE maths alternative accepted by many employers and colleges. How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions with a tutor. Assessment is by a written test set and marked by City and Guilds. You'll practise skills throughout the course before sitting the test. Your tutor will use your initial assessment to plan learning that suits your pace and starting point.
