About this course

Free Entry Level 2 Preparation for Employment Course in Folkestone. Classes run full-time at Folkestone College, five days a week during the day. The course runs for 44 weeks and covers communication, teamwork, and speaking to audiences, with maths and English woven throughout. One day each week is spent on a work experience placement, either in the college or with an external employer, to help you explore different career areas. Learning is tailored to you, with individual targets reviewed each term. This course is free for students with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) up to age 24, and for other young people with a high level of need up to age 19.
