Free Entry Level 2 Functional Skills Maths in Basildon. Classes run at TCHC Basildon GAPS Centre. You must be enrolled on a vocational qualification at one of the GAPS centres to be eligible. The course covers three areas: using numbers and the number system, working with measures, shape and space, and handling data. It takes around 55 hours of full-time daytime study. You'll also get support with cost-of-living budgeting.

Young people aged 16-18 (and 16-24 with an EHCP) who would like to gain a qualification in Functional Skills Maths.

How you will learn
You'll study in a classroom at TCHC Basildon GAPS Centre. Assessment includes two exams: one where you can use a calculator and one where you cannot. Both are set by NCFE as part of the Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics (Entry 2).
