About this course

Free Entry Level 1 Functional Skills English in Watford. Classes run at TCHC Watford GAPS Centre. You must be enrolled on a vocational qualification at one of the GAPS centres to be eligible. The course covers reading, writing, and speaking and listening, with an assessment in each area. It runs for 55 hours of daytime study. You'll also get support with cost-of-living budgeting.

How you will learn

Classes are delivered in a classroom at TCHC Watford GAPS Centre. You'll be assessed separately in three areas: reading, writing, and speaking and listening. Each area has its own assessment. You'll also have access to careers guidance, mentoring, work experience opportunities, and CV and interview support through the centre's Employment Hub.
