Free ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening course in Catterick Garrison. Evening classes run at Catterick Library & Information Centre, so you can fit study around your day. This english for speakers of other languages course builds your spoken English and listening skills for everyday life and work. You'll also develop your understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Classes run part-time over 22 weeks. You must be aged 19 or over to be eligible for funding; further eligibility is checked at enrolment.

How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Catterick Library & Information Centre. Assessment is through spoken tasks and listening activities that reflect everyday English use. Your progress is assessed as part of the course, and you'll complete tasks that demonstrate your speaking and listening skills at Level 1.
