Free BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts Course in Liverpool. Classes run at Brighter Futures Jelli Campus, full-time during the day. This level 3 btec performing arts course covers the craft, skills, and business of performing arts, including dance and musical theatre. The course runs for 11 months. To join, you'll need to have completed the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Performing Arts. The course is equivalent in size to three A Levels and prepares you for higher education in performing arts and related fields.
Who this course is for
The Extended Diploma, equivalent in size to three A Levels, is a two-year, full-time course that meets entry requirements for learners who want to progress to higher education courses in art and design areas before entering employment.
Entry requirements
Students must have completed the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma (540) in Performing Arts. Based off the requirements for the 720 and 1080 GLH BTECs, we expect that students would top up to the corresponding 2nd year programme to what they have completed in year 1. There are too many units to complete to move from the Extended Certificate to the Extended Diploma, and any learners wanting to move to the Diploma from the Foundation Diploma would only do 1 mandatory unit of 180 GLH
