Free BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts Course in Blackpool. Classes run full-time at Blackpool Sixth Form College, five days a week during the day. This level 3 BTEC performing arts qualification covers singing, dancing, and acting, and you'll need experience in at least two of those before you start. What is it? This is an exciting and varied course developing technique and performance skills in singing, dancing and acting (you need to have experience in at least two of these before joining the course). It aims to provide budding West End stars with the skills to apply for higher education courses, or vocational training in the industry. You will take part in workshops with professional performers. You will undertake work experience in the community and will focus on the high standards needed in the musical theatre industry. Why study this course at Blackpool Sixth? The course provides an excellent preparation for the musical theatre industry. Many former students have gained places at the most prestigious musical theatre schools and related university courses. We offer first class facilities, including a 300-seat theatre. The course can be combined with BTEC Performing Arts for a performance study programme, specialising in musical theatre. Specific course entry requirements: At least two years of recent significant performance experience.

Entry requirements
