About this course

BTEC Level 3 Business Course in Colchester. Classes run at Adult Skills Centre Colchester, full-time during the day. It may be free if you are 16 to 18 years old. If you are 19 or over, fees may apply.

This Level 3 BTEC business course covers marketing, finance, human resource management, and business decision-making. You will also study digital marketing, international business, and team development. The course runs over nine months and is assessed through coursework, exams, and controlled assessment.

You will finish with a Pearson Edexcel BTEC National Foundation Diploma in Business.

Who this course is for

This course provides a nationally recognised and vocationally specific qualification for those looking to enter employment or to progress to higher education such as a degree in business and/or management or an associated specialist field.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs (9-4) including English Language and Maths, or Level 2 Functional Skills equivalent, or satisfactory results (Merit/Distinction) in a relevant level 2 qualification, plus an interview.
