This one year Top-up degree will enable students to build on the professional skills developed in Level 4/5 Foundation Degrees or HND courses, ready for a wide range of roles within the contemporary design field. The course promotes design learning with related disciplines, encouraging a creative approach to design thinking and production. We encourage our students to be innovators within chosen areas of design such as Illustration, Multi-media, Web Design, Photography and Motion Graphics.The complex approaches to design no longer demand specialists but rather designers who work within the convergence of boundaries. With the merger of new technologies and ensuing media revolution there is an amplified need for designers who understand the multiplicity of the screen as much as conventional design practices, an opportunity to be a facilitator for change.
Entry requirements
You will require 240 Credits from the Foundation Degree in Digital Media Design.
