About this course

Free AAT Level 4 Accounting Course in London. Classes run at KBM Accountancy Training, Courses and Recruitment in London, full-time during the day. This level 4 AAT accounting qualification is the final stage of the full AAT qualification. You'll study advanced financial management, drafting financial statements for limited companies, and management accounting systems. The course takes around 12 months to complete. Entry requires five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths, plus AAT Level 3. Completing this free AAT accounting course makes you eligible for MAAT membership.

The AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting is final stage of the full Association of Accounting Technicians qualification, and is for anyone who would like to get into or move on to their career in accounting and finance.

If you have related qualifications, a degree or some accounting experience already you may be able to claim exemptions from some elements of the course enabling you to achieve your qualification quicker.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including English and maths. AAT Level 3.

What you will learn

  • You'll apply advanced management accounting techniques to complex business scenarios.
  • You'll draft and interpret financial statements for limited companies.
  • You'll evaluate and recommend improvements to internal accounting systems and controls.
  • You'll construct and present complex management accounting reports.
  • You'll study one or more specialist areas: Business Tax, Personal Tax, Audit and Assurance, Cash and Financial Management, or Credit and Debt Management.

How you will learn

You'll attend classroom-based sessions in London during the day. The course includes one-to-one sessions with qualified AAT tutors. Assessment is through AAT's computer-based exams for each unit. You'll complete three mandatory units and two optional specialist units. The AAT sets and marks all assessments.
