About this course

AAT Level 4 Accounting Course in Southwark. Classes run at Kaplan London Bridge, part-time on a day or block release basis. The course may be funded through a Government Apprenticeship for eligible learners. Fees may apply otherwise. This level 4 aat accounting course covers the higher-level accounting tasks expected of a financial team leader, including drafting financial statements, managing budgets, and evaluating financial performance. It runs over 7 days of taught sessions. You'll need to have completed a Level 3 accounting qualification, or hold an equivalent level of experience in finance.

Who this course is for

Kaplan's Professional Diploma in Accounting covers higher accounting tasks required by a financial team leader such as drafting financial statement, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance.

It is ideally suited for someone who has completed the Level 3 Advanced Diploma, someone who is at a more advanced stage of their career in finance and who wants to back up their skills with a recognised qualification. It can also be used by those looking for an alternative to university.

Once completed you can go on to be an AAT full member or study for chartered status.

How you will learn

The synoptic assessment draws on knowledge from across the qualification and tests your ability to apply it in a realistic accounting context.
