Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

You'll understand the principles of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
You'll prepare and balance ledger accounts.
You'll process transactions using day books and journals.
You'll understand VAT and how it applies to business transactions.

How you will learn
Classes are classroom based at Harrogate Civic Centre, with tutor-led sessions each week. You'll be assessed through AAT computer-based assessments, which test your knowledge and practical bookkeeping skills. These are set and marked by AAT, not by the centre.
