Entry Level 1 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening Course in Richmond upon Thames. Classes run at Parkshot, part-time during the day. Entry requirements

We have courses at all levels of the Adult ESOL Curriculum from Pre-Entry (for complete beginners) and Entry Level up to Level 2. We will help you find the correct level for you before you start your course. Before you start this course, you need to take an English language assessment to help us put you in the right level of Speaking and Listening course.

What you will learn

  • You'll develop your listening skills to understand others more easily.
  • You'll improve your pronunciation in English.
  • You'll take part in simple discussions and short conversations.
  • You'll build your vocabulary and understanding of basic grammar.

How you will learn

You learn in a classroom with a teacher who has English language teaching experience. Classes run twice a week. You take part in speaking and listening activities with your teacher and other learners. Assessment is through speaking and listening tasks that show what you can do. Your teacher will guide you through each task.
