Entry Level 1 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening Course in Richmond upon Thames. Evening classes run at Parkshot, fitting around your daytime commitments. Before you start, you take an English language assessment so the centre can place you at the right level. The course runs for 10 weeks and focuses on spoken English. You'll work on pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday communication. These are the building blocks for using English at work and in daily life. Fees apply for this course, though you may be eligible for funding or an Advanced Learner Loan.

We have courses at all levels of the Adult ESOL Curriculum from Pre-Entry (for complete beginners) and Entry Level up to Level 2. We will help you find the correct level for you before you start your course. Before you start this course, you need to take an English language assessment to help us put you in the right level of Speaking and Listening course.

How you will learn

Assessment is through speaking and listening tasks that reflect real-life communication. You'll be assessed on your ability to take part in discussions and respond to others in spoken English.
