Level 1 ESOL Skills for Life: Reading Course in Brent. Classes run at College of North West London, part-time during the day. The course runs for 12 weeks and is open to adults. What you will learn
You'll read and understand everyday written texts such as letters, forms, and notices.
You'll identify the main points and details in a range of written materials.
You'll work out the meaning of unfamiliar words using context.

You'll recognise how texts are organised and what they are trying to communicate.
How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom with a teacher and other adult learners. Learning is activity-based, using real written texts and practical tasks. Assessment is through tasks and exercises that show what you can read and understand. Entry requirements are assessed on an individual basis before you start.
