Kaplan's CIMA BA1 course aims to support you in passing your exam and help you to gain the skills you need for a successful career in accountancy. You'll work through a structured study schedule targeted towards an Objective Test (OT). Your tutor will support and guide you through the course and answer any questions you may have.

Macroeconomic and Institutional Context of Business (25%) Microeconomic and Organisational Context of Business (30%) Informational Context of Business (20%) Financial Context of Business (25%)

What you could study next
After completing the CIMA BA2 Business Accounting Practice Qualification, you can continue through the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting by completing the remaining Certificate-level subjects (BA1, BA3, BA4). From there, the CIMA Professional Qualification (Operational, Management, and Strategic levels) leads to full CIMA membership and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, which is widely sought in finance and accounting roles.
