About this course

CIMA BA2 Business Accounting Practice Course in Leeds. Classes run at Kaplan Leeds on weekends, so you can study without taking time off work. The course may be funded through a Government Apprenticeship. If you're not eligible for that route, a payment plan may be available. Over 6 days of classroom-based study, you'll cover the knowledge and skills tested in the CIMA BA2 Objective Test exam. Your tutor guides you through a structured schedule and is on hand to answer questions. Printed and digital study materials are included.

Who this course is for

Kaplan's CIMA BA1 course aims to support you in passing your exam and help you to gain the skills you need for a successful career in accountancy. You'll work through a structured study schedule targeted towards an Objective Test (OT). Your tutor will support and guide you through the course and answer any questions you may have.

Included in our courses are printed copies of our Official CIMA material along with soft copies which can be found on your personalised, online learning portal, MyKaplan (www.mykaplan.co.uk). Also on MyKaplan you will get a range of online resources such as: Subject Overview, Resource Guide, Study Programme, Tutor-led Units, Knowledge Check Tests,Mock Exams and Test Yourself facility.

The BA1 syllabus is split into 4 general areas:

Macroeconomic and Institutional Context of Business (25%) Microeconomic and Organisational Context of Business (30%) Informational Context of Business (20%) Financial Context of Business (25%)

No entry requirements, although you will need a good understanding of Maths and English.

You'll attend weekend classroom sessions at Kaplan Leeds over 6 days. A tutor leads each session, working through the CIMA BA2 syllabus in a structured schedule. You'll have access to official CIMA printed materials and a personalised online learning portal for additional study between sessions. Assessment is by a CIMA Objective Test exam.
