Kaplan's CIMA BA4 course aims to support you in passing your exam and help you to gain the skills you need for a successful career in accountancy. You'll work through a structured study schedule targeted towards an Objective Test (OT). Your tutor will support and guide you through the course and answer any questions you may have.
Included in our courses are printed copies of our Official CIMA material along with soft copies which can be found on your personalised, online learning portal, MyKaplan (www.mykaplan.co.uk). Also on MyKaplan you will get a range of online resources such as: Subject Overview, Resource Guide, Study Programme, Tutor-led Units, Knowledge Check Tests,Mock Exams and Test Yourself facility.

The BA4 syllabus is split into 4 general areas:
Business ethics and ethical conflict (30%) Corporate governance, controls and corporate social responsibility (45%) General principles of the legal system, contract and employment law (15%) Company administration (10%)

What you could study next
After completing the Level 4 CIMA BA2 qualification, you can continue through the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting by completing the remaining Certificate-level subjects (BA1, BA3, BA4). From there, the CIMA Operational, Management, and Strategic levels lead to full CIMA membership and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) status. You could also consider the AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting if you want a broader accountancy qualification recognised across sectors.
