About this course

AAT Level 2 Accounting Course in Wakefield. Classes run at Wakefield College, part-time during the day. You'll need GCSEs at grade 4 or above in English and Maths, or Level 2 Functional Skills in both subjects, to enrol. The course takes 12 months and covers the core skills used in everyday accounting work. AAT is a widely used qualification for technician-level accounting roles, and completing this level opens the door to further AAT study. All students register with AAT on enrolment, with a membership fee payable directly to AAT.

Who this course is for

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is a well-respected and recognised qualification within the accounting profession. It is recognised as a major qualification for Technician level accounting staff. Students who gain their Advanced and Professional Diplomas and who have relevant accounting work experience can apply for membership of the AAT and will normally get exam exemptions from the Chartered Accounting Bodies.

Wakefield Evening Course will be carried out using a blended approach which consists of both face to face teaching and self study.
