You will undertake the nationally recognised Supply Chain Warehouse apprenticeship. The successful candidates will gain expert knowledge within the warehouse environment.
This apprenticeship is a route into a career in logistics and customer service.
Duties would include:
- Physically handle cargo inbound and out to the satisfaction of the business, both manually and mechanically
- Liaise with UK colleagues to process transport bookings
- Monitor inbound cargo and stock levels to provide customers and team members with timely updates via an online portal
- Deal with customer and overseas partner queries
- Learn and manage customs requirements around bonded and customs-approved warehousing
- Handle fulfilment for e-commerce clients, including Amazon bound cargo
Training
- Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- On and off the job training and location to be confirmed
- On the job training delivered by the employer
- Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end point assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeship English and mathematics minimum requirement is Entry Level 3
- Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out regular training
- Assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours in order to progress and develop
- Identify, track and support 6 hours off-the-job training activities
- Quarterly formal progress review meetings, identifying learning achievements and next steps
