Pay: £105 – £130 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the DE23 area of Derby. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them thrive both academically and personally within a nurturing school environment.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
* Supporting children with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech & Language needs
* Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
* Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
* Building strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
* Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Has experience working with children or young people (preferred)
* Has SEN experience or a genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs
* Is patient, caring, and resilient
* Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills
* Is passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives
* Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
