Nursery Practitioner

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £13.30ph dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours a week
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children

* Supporting children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities

* Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

* Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children’s interests and development

* Observing and recording children’s progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys

* Ensuring children’s health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times

* Supporting children with their personal care needs where required

* Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team

* Following the nursery’s policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements

* Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

* Caring, patient and approachable

* Passionate about working with children and supporting their development

* A positive team player with good communication skills

* Reliable, responsible and committed to providing high-quality care

* Able to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues

* Confident in creating fun and engaging learning experiences

A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is desirable/required depending on the role.

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.
