This role is ideal for someone looking to begin their career in business administration while gaining valuable experience within a professional sporting organisation.

Working alongside the Football Operations Team, you will provide administrative support across a wide range of activities, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of grassroots football across Hampshire.

You will support County Cup competitions, player registrations, club affiliations, referee administration and safeguarding processes, while developing your skills through a recognised apprenticeship programme.

Key Responsibilities As an Operations Administrator Apprentice, you will provide excellent customer service to clubs, leagues, referees and football stakeholders while supporting the administration of Hampshire FA’s football operations. You will assist with County Cup competitions and finals, support player registration enquiries, maintain accurate records on The FA’s Platform for Football and help with club affiliation and membership processes.

The role will also involve supporting safeguarding administration, assisting with referee course bookings and venue coordination, maintaining football administration systems and records, processing invoicing and finance-related administration, and promoting the use of FA technology platforms across the grassroots game. Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you will undertake apprenticeship training and apply your learning within the workplace.
